More from Monty Oum

Comments Off

Before the world knew of Haloid, Monty Oum had already made several other trailers, and if you go to the link below, you”ll find them below the video. Unlike Haloid, most of the ROADS video follows the platform of a fighting game (i.e. Street Fighter II, Mortal Kombat, etc.). Bottom line they’re all pretty awsome.

The place has been buzzing over this new movie found at Game Trailers. After ambushing a group of covenant aliens a special Spartan soldier comes across an opponent no one would have ever expected. Oh yeah, NSFW, void where prohibited.

This is SPARTA!

I found this shockwave file at manatheater.com. It’s normally a site that does sprite comics that pokes fun at the SNES game “Secret of Mana”. In this clip, we see that Kratos from the God of War series has been trapped in a room with no doors with a certain Spartan from the movie 300. I don’t seem to be getting tired from watching it.

Sakura Taisen New York NY Hits the Shelves in Japan

The new OVA series takes place after Sakura Taisen V. It features a villain from Egypt who is miffed over his relics being put on display here in the US. Unlike previous adaptations, where the male protagonist takes a back seat, Taiga will be playing more of a pivotal role in the series. However, a running gag involves him dressing up as his female blond commander (Oh the irony!).

Comments Off

In an attempt to compete with Tecmo’s own DOAX, Nintendo has announced that they will be releasing a beach volleyball game featuring the female console characters from classic Nintendo games. Nintendo of America released several screenshots featuring Princess Toadstool, Zelda, Samus and Misty dressed in various swimwear while playing beach volleyball by the ocean. According to the press release, the game will taking your traditional volleyball rules and applying the wackiness that you would come to expect from Nintendo. The release also mentions being able to wear multiple outfits, an island exploration system, and a plethora of minigames to play. The game is expected to be released on April 1, 2401.
