It’s always cool to hear news about a celebrity becoming a gamer; especially when it’s a hot chick like Jessica Alaba (Fantastic Four, Into the Blue, Camp Nowhere). Today Kotaku posted an article about her obsession with her Nintendo DS and the video game Brain Age. It’s a game designed to help sharpen your brain. At the time of the interview with Yahoo’s Celebrity Byte, Jessica admitted to having a brain age of 82. Hang in there Jessica!

Game Trailers Member JunkyFM posted this yesterday. A majority of the games appear to be licenced exclusively to Japan, so you might not be familiar with all of them. The trailer is about six minutes long and it covers about 180 titles per minute (180 * 6 = 1080). If you look closely the first titles are copyright 1981, and the last title is copyright 1994. That’s over a decade of video games!

Honestly, thieves are the most inconsiderate people to ‘walk’ this planet. Well, a pair of them got more than what they bargained for when they broke into a house in Florida. At the time of the break in, a brother and sister were home alone. The siblings hid from the burglars until the brother saw one of them leave his sister’s room and decided to lunge at them with a samurai sword. The cherry on the top is the fact that when the burglar ran out of the room, he was carrying their PS 3. The thief was later caught by K-9 units behind a palm tree, and is out on bail (sarcastic yay!), his partner is still out as a wanted man (one more sarcastic yay!).

Antarctic Press, announced today the release of several continuing titles for this month including ‘Final Girl #2′, Several ‘Gold Digger’ installments, and probably the biggest new, the release of ‘Ninja High School #150′! This series is considered one of the oldest (if not the oldest), title in American manga. The book will be an assortment of short stories featuring the artists and cast members from the last twenty years. It will come in a signed edition featuring every artist that has worked on the title, and a limited sketch cover edition. Antarctic Press will also be releasing this month the ‘Ninja High School: Class Reunion 20th Anniversary Special’, and the NHS: Hawaii Pocket Manga #3.

After a morning of dramatics here in Los Angeles, Paris Hilton was ordered back to prison Judge T. Sauer. If there are two things my fellow Angelinos will remember, is her reaction to the order, and when a photographer took a high resolution picture of Paris Hilton as she was taken away in a Sheriff’s black and white sobbing.
