Earlier this week, Antarctic Press issued a press release on their line up for the month of November, which they have dubbed “Ninja High School” Month. First off they are be celebrating the creator behind NHS (Ben Dunn) with a five pack bundle of several titles that he has created, including Ninja High School, The Agents, Heaven Sent, Mighty Tiny and Warrior Nun Areala. Each one in the bundle pack is a first volume. They are also featuring several continuing several other titles including Gold Digger #90, Ninja High School #150, and Pirates vs. Ninja II: Up the Ante! #5 and Shy Sharks #4.
Antarctic Press is also proud to announce that Ninja High School: Shidoshi Volume 1 will be released in November. It will be a collection of the Ninja High School Comics #130 through #135. Here’s a brief synopsis:
It’s a brand new school year, and ninja extraordinaire Ricky Feeple has to deal with temperamental new students, bizarre new teachers, and a whole new (and dangerous) curriculum. Apparently, the new school board’s looking for a way to pull themselves out of debt and make their jobs easier, and the RNC’s new reality TV network might be the ticket! All they have to do is ship off all the troublemakers-including one red-headed ninja-to a secret island, arm them, and then force them to engage in team-on-team combat! Of course none of them counted on the possibly insane residents of a hot springs resort on the island…
Continuing the celebration of this twenty year old series, Antarctic Press is again offering the first nine volumes of Ninja High School, featuring Ricky’s older brother Jeremy Feeple. These nine books follow Ninja High School comics #0 through #42.
And finally there are two more reference books coming out in a few months; in keeping up with the Gold Digger universe, the first is Gold Digger Sourcebook: The Official Handbook to the GD Universe #11. The thirty-two page book is featuring character stats and history, and regions found in the series. The second book is Pose File Ultimate Edition Supersize. This book features a plethora multiple male and female costumes and poses; it is ideal for anyone who is looking to develop their art skills.
