Review Posted – Kanon Volume 1

And to think it only took me a month and a half to finally post this bloody thing. Sorry for the delay; I could rant about what went wrong, or what I’ve learned from all this, but let’s not and just say we did shall we? To commemorate this long overdue review, I posted a piece of the 2002 version of the series. There aren’t any major spoilers so no need to worry.

You may also notice that the heading no longer says “.net”. I recently purchased the “.com” domain name so I felt there wasn’t any need to disassociate it with other domain types. Hopefully this will make it easier to remember.

Mushrooms and Ocarinas – Presenting Two Wierd Videos

I have two new videos that I’ve wanted to post for a while now. The first one comes from SephOgreThe3rd, while looking at some of his other work I came across this really weird music video he created. It’s another spoof; this time it’s based on the “Above The Influence” commercials, and it features the song “One Pill Makes You Larger, One Pill Makes You Small” by Jefferson Airplane. You might already be familiar with the song if you’ve been watching those “Lost Odyssey” commercials. Like the music, the images can be rather psychedelic, and while its good for a laugh, there is some sensitive material here and there. The video below is another abridged series, this time coming from adamwestslapdog called simply “Legend of Zelda: The Abridged Series”. While it not the most solid piece of work out there, the newer episodes have been slowly accumulating multiple awards on YouTube. In order to prevent any spoilers I have posted the first episode below.

tokyo pinaslocks Will be Following Up Anime Boston With a Concert in New York City

tokyopinaslocks appearing in NY, NY

For those of you who will be in the New York Area in late March, there is a concert that may be of interest. JapanFiles.com announced that the group tokyo pinaslocks will be appearing at the Knitting Factory in New York on Tuesday, March 25th. Just days after their debut at Anime Boston, the Japanese electronic rockers will be playing music from their CD “Plutonium 07″ and their upcoming release “Planet Rita”. Special guests also include Sakura Madams, DJs Mar Galo, and Hayden Honey.
