I got another press release from Kotobukiya, not to mention more pictures than you can shake a stick at. Our first contestant is Noumi Kudryavka, from Key’s newest Dating Sim “Little Busters”. Claiming to be three quarters Russian and one quarter Japanese, this little blue-eyed brown-hair cutie is joyfully posing in her school uniform, along with her white cape and hat. Look for in stores starting in August.
Following right behind Noumi comes a character from another Key title. From “Yotsunoha”, Nekomiya Nono is bashfully donning her school swimsuit and High socks. If that wasn’t enough, this main heroine also comes with cat ears and a tail. An ideal grab for any moe fan. Look for her this November.
The next model comes from the video game “Shining Wind/Tears” series. Designed by bishop master artist Tony Taka, this 1/8th scale of Elwing stands approximately 8 inches tall with a bow and a clever smile. Expect her to come out this November.
Last (for now) but not least is a Kotobukiya original called AIR. I think I’ll let the press release speak for itself:
AIR is an original Kotobukiya character, designed and illustrated by NiØ – also known as STUDIO THE EDGE, freelance mecha designers of Demonbane, Queen’s Blade, as well as other anime series. The design was then sculpted by Tsukuru Shirahige and painted by Yukio Nishiyama especially for the Fuji Television program “Let’s Make Plastic Model Kits Custom”, which featured an in-depth analysis of the figure from concept to final product.
AIR is a modeler’s dream come true, with her large anthropomorphized airbrush, as well as other appealingly large features. AIR stands approximately 7 1/2″ tall, and is packaged in a collectible window box. As you would expect from an item made by modeler’s for modeler’s, AIR is peerlessly crafted and impeccably detailed, and would be a welcome addition to anyone’s model shop work desk!
Look for her this November.
Now as promised here are a few more images to tide you over until their arrival.
