I’m sorry, but when I saw them go down the elevator, and open up those doors, this idea just screamed at me.

This morning ICv2.com caught up with Tokyo Pop’s Marco Pavia in regards to several titles being listed as canceled on Diamond Comics. He says while Tokyo Pop’s restructuring plan will cut production by 50%, the titles were not canceled but delayed.
He said that “When we move a title out of a particular month, Diamond prefers to ‘cancel’ a book in their system and re-solicit when the time comes.” One example is Aria Volume 5, which was supposed to arrive in December, and is now set for March 10th.

Not that the Mario theme was intentional, I found this video on YouTube where user XFactor614 modified one of the levels so that it could look like the first level in the original Super Mario Brothers.

Back in mid-November, the creators of LoadingReadyRun (Graham Stark and Paul Saunders) joined The Escapist in order to create a new series called Unskippable. Much like the classic series Mystery Science Theater 3000, the two of them poke fun at the opening sequences of different games. So far their list includes Eternal Sonata, Dead Rising, and Dirge of Cerberus. I’ve posted a video featuring the video game The Getaway. For more information, or to view other videos go to escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/unskippable.
Hmm… I wonder if they’re ever going to poke fun at MSG4…
