HOW DID THEY GET HIM TO APPEAR IN THEIR VIDEO?
According to their website they plan to talk about the video tomorrow during their PodCast. You can check them out at mega64.com.
Fellow Escapist personality Yahtzee joined Graham Stark and Paul Saunders today on Unskippable. At the end of the skit the Aussie residing critic called Graham and Paul out, followed by the two of them hinting an appearance this coming Wednesday April 1st.
IMHO:
1. While I thought YZ was a bit stiff I do gotta take into account that he probably wasn’t even in the same time zone as Graham and Paul. At least this meeting betwen “rivals” was funnier than Jon Stweart’s intervew with Jim Cramer (oh yeah I went there). In short I do like the whole idea of Escapist personalities wokring with each other and, hopefully if they ever do this again, the guest star’s audio bytes won’t sound so artificial.
2. While I’m looking forward to the show on Wednesday, I can’t help but notice the date and speculate if it is just a joke. Will they actually appear on Zero Punctuation? Or is this an April Fools prank? Place your bets.
This video has been around YouTube for a while. I’m really surprised that it has received so few hits (currently in the four digits) for a few reasons. The first is because of the incredible effects used throughout the video, and how well it matches the music (especially the lip sync). The other is because of the quality of the video; it’s sharper than 99% of the AMVs out there.
The name of the song is Watch Them Fall Down by DJ Spoke.

Nothing makes you feel better while going through a recession (or at least make you feel less numb), than finding other people who are going through it as well, and can make you laugh about it.
If you’ve been watching the Angry Video Game Nerd lately you may have noticed that he was plugged a website called StupidFingers.com. After going to his website, I saw that he recently finished a new console mod where “Richard” put a Super NES into a toaster.
