3,2,1, BREAKIN' OUT! Becomes AX's Official Theme Song

Comments Off

Anime Expo announced yesterday afternoon that Morning Musume’s 3,2,1, BREAKIN’ OUT! will be the official song for this year’s Anime Expo. The group will be performing as a musical Guest of Honor.

The song was written and produced by producer Tsunku, who had this to say about AX:

I wrote this song just for Anime Expo® 2009. I imagined everybody’s smile when I wrote it, and I’m looking forward to seeing you guys at the MORNING MUSUME concert. I hope new great energy will be born at the convention from this collaboration between Japanese and US culture, and that it will last into the future.

A sample of the song is currently available at JapanFiles.com’s MySpace page. You can also pre-order the album Shouganai Yumeoibito at JapanFiles.com, which contains the song, and PLATNUM 9 DISC at this time. Both physical CDs will contain a random member’s photo card.

For more information about the convention go to anime-expo.org.
