Otakon announced today that cello performer Kanon Wakeshima will be making her US debut as their Guest of Honor. The convention will be taking place from July 17 to the 19th later this year.
Wakeshima, who has been playing the instrument since the age of 3, signed her first contract last year after winning an audition held by Sony Music Japan. Her first Single, Still Doll, was is used for the anime adaptation of Vampire Knight.
