Apple has acquired the rights to the iPad trademark from Fujitsu earlier this month. The settlement came on March 17, only a few foot steps away from the the inital launch of the device, April 3.
The story began when Fujistu filed for ownership for the iPad trademark in 2003 for their handheld device featuring a 3.5 inch touchscreen. The trade mark then fell into “abandoned” status in April 2009. Then in September 2009 the United States Patent Trading Office published a review to re-open the trademark.

Ode to the development team that knows how to handle a physics engine correctly (and having a thing for water colors don’t hurt either). The creators of Wallice and Gromit comes a unique puzzle game called Home Sheep Home.
In this cleverly titled game, you control three sheep of different sizes through fifteen levels. Because of their sizes each sheep has an expected ability, whether it be squeezing through tight spaces, or being able to push heavy objects. While the water colors and reaction animation caught my eye, I really liked how the physics behaved. True, getting the sheep to push something with just the right amount of pressure, but I think I enjoyed saying “Oh crap” as I watched them accidentally push something over a cliff… with their friends on it.
Each level can take between a few seconds to a few minutes to finish, which is great for those of you who are looking for something in the middle of their break.

Spotlight on tkmdr
Comments OffI’ve been following this youtuber since she first posted the video above. She is a 13 year old drummer named Senri Kawaguchi a.k.a. tkmdr (I have no idea how her user name is pronounced).
She has caught my attention for a few reasons. Besides the nice balance between the song and her solo, the straight run rather than a compilation of takes really shows that she has the chops. I’ve posted her more recent video after the jump, it’s another song from the first K-On season.

1 Touhou Project PV + 2 TP MAD

Touhou Project released a Promotional Video late February featuring several of the music videos that will be released in their upcoming DVD. The video featured the song Fragments followed by several previously released videos.
Following the jump are two fan made videos. The first features Reimu and the Prismriver Sisters in the Shugo Chara ending credits Lotta Love. The last one (which is NSFW), was created by IOSYS called Danzai (Conviction) Yamaxanadu.

MAD – To Aru Majutsu X Durara Ending Credits
Comments OffI spotted this video back in February. It is the ending sequence of the new series Durara except it features the cast of To Aru Majutsu no Index. What I really like about the video is not only are they in the same poses, their positions make a lot of sense.

And this is why I’m supposed to update more frequently. Because you never know when several news items of the same category appear on the radar so close to each other. Getting to the heart of the matter, Abridged fans rejoice! Several titles were released in the last few days including the premiere of a new series. First we have Travolta3335 who is starting his new Arbidged series Yu Gi Oh GX Fool Academy as seen above. Next, after the jump is an old series brought back to life, its Naruto the Abridged Series episode 25 from Vegeta3986 and MasakoX.
