JapanFiles.com released a new video on their YouTube channel. The song is called Vision from Dazzle Vision’s new album “to the next”.

VizAnime.com to Begin Airing Vampire Hunter Online

Viz Media announced Friday afternoon that it will now be airing episodes of Vampire Knight on their website VizAnime.com. The series is currently being embedded from hulu.com.

The series takes places in Cross Academy. Divided by two groups of students the two groups cross paths at Twilight. Yuki Cross arrived at the school ten years ago with a case of amnesia. Adopted by the headmaster, she works with Zero Kiryu to guard the Academy’s secret.

Crunchyroll Acquires Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

Crunchyroll announced today that it has acquired the rights to “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya” and Nyor?n Churuya-san for “multiple Crunchyroll platforms”. The first four episodes of MOHS were made available to all members today.

Curnchyroll also reported that they will be posting the second season on a later date.

Several Abridged Titles Released Within Days from Each Other

And this is why I’m supposed to update more frequently. Because you never know when several news items of the same category appear on the radar so close to each other. Getting to the heart of the matter, Abridged fans rejoice! Several titles were released in the last few days including the premiere of a new series. First we have Travolta3335 who is starting his new Arbidged series Yu Gi Oh GX Fool Academy as seen above. Next, after the jump is an old series brought back to life, its Naruto the Abridged Series episode 25 from Vegeta3986 and MasakoX. New Single from LM.C and Short Video Regarding A-Kon 20

Japan Files sent out a press release regarding LM.C’s new single and the canceled show at the upcoming A-Kon.

First off, their single PUNKY HEART was just released on their site. It consists of two songs and is available for $1.98 US. The song Days is the opening theme song for the video game KATEKYO HITMAN REBORN! for the Nintendo DS.

Following the cancellation of their upcoming performance at A-Kon 20, LM.C made a special comment video for their fans who were hoping to see them later this month. Japan Files is also running a contest just for A-Kon attendees where they can win various autographed prizes. The winners will be picked by maya and Aiji themselves. The Century of Black Ships
Viz announced on Monday that they have released a historical non-fiction book called The Century of Black Ships. The book was researched and written by Naoki Inose, the Vice Governor of Tokyo.

The book’s main focus is an unconventional view between U.S. and Japan relations. It begins when U.S. Navy Commodore Matthew C. Perry first sails into Tokyo Bay and his fleet of “Black Ships” in 1853. It takes the perspective a various Japanese writers who gave voice to the anxieties of a nation headed towards war.
