Comments Off

null

Kotobukiya released a press release late January featuring images of resin figures that are set to be released this May and June. They included Hinagiku Katsura, HMX-17c Silfa, and the (Egyptian) half of the cast of Yu-Gi-Oh!

Starting with Hinagiku she is wearing her “on stage” outfit that she wore in episode 12 of “Hayate no Goku” (Season 2). Despite her previous reservations earlier in the episode, we see her below passionately posing while wearing a long pink dress, and short black shirt. Her white shoulders pads and gloves have yellow trimming, and a waist wrap tied with a red ribbon complement her black shirt. Her outfit is complete with pink shoes, a star for a head piece and a wireless earpiece with microphone. Designed by Haruhi Murakami, Hinagiku stands almost 8 inches tall (in 1/8th scale) and comes to you in a beautiful window box. Hinagiku Katsura -On the Stage- Ani*Statue is scheduled for release in the US this May with an SRP of $59.99.

The next figure is from the To Heart 2 spin off called “Manaka de Ikuno!! FINAL DRAGON CHRONICLE GUILTY REQUIEM”. It’s HMX-17c Silfa in her bard outfit. Donning a flirtatious purple and black mini dress she complements her outfit with matching hat and gloves. She finishes it all with a pair of black shoes and long stockings plus a ribbon above each ankle. Kotobukiya has also paid a high level of attention to her guitar, which includes real strings. Sculpted by Nishimura Naoki, Silfa stands 8 ¾ inches tall (1/8th scale) on a specially designed display base and comes to you fully painted and ready for display. With an SRP of $69.99 Silfa Bard ANI*STATUE will be available to the US this June.

Last on the list we have several One Coin Mini Figures from the Yu Gi Oh series. Called the “Ancient Battle” collection it includes ten Yu Gi Oh characters in ancient Egypt garb. Each character comes with two dialogue plates that attaches to the base. The collection includes:
• Black Magician
• Black Magician Girl
• Blue Eyes White Dragon
• Touzokuou Bakura
• Isizu
• Mariku
• Seto
• Atem
• Yami Mariku
• “Secret Figure”

Each 2″ – 2 ½” figure is sold in individual blind boxes. With an SRP of $5.99 each, they should be available this June.

Bring on the pics!

IMHO: Suddenly, I don’t want a Nintendo 3DS that badly. I wonder if they’ll have them out for E3.
