Konami released an e-mail to the press, which hinted that the Silent Hill Collection will be released exclusively on the PS3. After talking with Silent Hill’s producer Tom Hulett, Joystiq reported that he said “It’s always been a primarily Sony platform series. So, right now we’re just aiming at a Sony exclusive, which isn’t to say [that] in the future it won’t be available anywhere else, but right now it’s a Sony exclusive.”

Austraila has pulled a 180 with Dead or Alive: Dimensions, banning the 3DS game. The Australian Classificiation Board initally gave it a PG rating, and then changed their minds after making the conclusion that it wasn’t given sufficient information to give it a correct classification. The game can no longer be sold in stores and all games have been pulled off the shelves.

Comments Off

Daimaou from Akihabara News blogged today that he came across a yogurt-pudding snack that was 480 grams. For those of that still use feet, pints and grams in our daily lives, it comes out to a little over 16 ounces or one pound.

Put a stick in it, freeze it up, and you got the worlds second biggest puddin' pop!

Samsung's Gives Specs on New Eco-Friendly Phone

Blue Earth

If Captain Planet ever had a cell phone… Back on Thursday Samsung revealed their new phone currently dubbed Blue Earth. After reading the specs, the phone’s features, manufacturing, and packaging process scream out eco-friendly.

While you are provided with a 0.3 Watt charger, the touch screen phone main energy source is from solar panel on the back. The phone also features a pedometer, which also calculates how much CO2 emissions you’ve saved by walking over driving. The phone is also made out of recycled plastic bottles, reducing the carbon emissions in making them. Finally the packaging is made out of recycled paper.

The Blue Earth phone will be revealed at the Mobile World Congress 2009 this week.
