I discovered this parody series while surfing on The Escapist. It’s a fan base dub of a fan base comic!

Eight years ago Jerry Koudelik (a.k.a. Sprite Monkey) created a parody of the video game “Secret of Mana”. Then in early 2008 he unexpectedly took a hiatus that would last over two years. Then last month he revived his site and has started posting new flash file episodes!
While it’s a bit old school in technology, I’d like to think that this comic along with comics such as 8-bit theater helped pave the way to abridged titles of today.

Good Luck!

Megatokyo Co-creator Fred Ghallagher and his wife Sarah got a surprise last month when their newborn son decided to make an early arrival on November 9th at 3:54 in the afternoon (yet another sign of how far back I am in updating the blog… *Sigh*). Although he was born pre-term, and despite the new family having to face numerous obstacles in the first week, he entered the world healthy and is doing fine.
Seeing as the first thing that popped into my mind after hearing Jack’s name was “Bauer?”, I decided to post the image above in tribute to the new parents and little Jack himself. Hopefully I won’t get sued over it ^^; All kidding aside a great big congrats to the Fred and Sarah, and I wish the three of them all the luck in the world.
Oh yeah I almost forgot. If by chance Fred or Sarah are actually reading this I pass this onto you, in the event that Jack gets startled by some kind of noise like say a liquid blender… try dancing.
