So I guess you’ve heard that LA had an earthquake on Tuesday. It’s been a while since I’ve been in one as big as this one so I almost forgot how it feels to be in one. As the comic suggests, I thought someone was being a jerk and shaking my table, and then I noticed my chair shaking. Finally someone said the word “earthquake” and that’s when I dove underneath my desk.
Having worked at Universal for over ten years, I have a few buddies that are working a hop skip and a jump away from where the fire is. Although I have heard of some injures as a result of fighting the fire, I am really glad to hear that there are no fatalities, and that everything that was destroyed today can be replaced. A big shout out once again to the firefighters on location.

I was planning on posting something else tonight, but after I saw this screen shot, I had a change of heart. This goes out to all those hardworking firefighters out there, and to the people who lost more than just time on the 405.
