Crunchyroll announced today that it has acquired the rights to “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya” and Nyor?n Churuya-san for “multiple Crunchyroll platforms”. The first four episodes of MOHS were made available to all members today.
Curnchyroll also reported that they will be posting the second season on a later date.
IMHO: Congratulations to Crunchyroll and their growing relationship with Kadokawa Pictures!
After coming out of my hibernation, I’ve posted two new videos that I found recently featuring that new “Goddess” Haruhi Suzumiya. The first was recently posted late last week called SOS Dan. It’s a doujin (fan) video game made by Mount Punch. The object of the game is to have Haruhi shoot down falling objects, with the help of the SOS Dan. The second video was made a few years ago called Haruhi Sentai SOS Dan (after the jump). I’m not familiar with the theme song played, but I liked how they spoofed the series to look like a Sentai.
Enjoy!
I have a few old MADs that I wanted to post for a while. The first is IdolM@ster Xenoglossia done to the opening sequence of Neon Genesis Evangelion. The second is the opening sequence of the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya featuring the cast of Mai Otome.
Enjoy!
